About Croatia and Dalmatia
Croatia is located in Southeast Europe along the Adriatic Sea, and the country is mostly famous for its coastline.
The Croatian Adriatic coast is stretching over 6,000 km together with its island.
These islands, 1,244 of them to be exact, most of them uninhabited, offer a unique Mediterranean experience.
Whether you love solitude in turquoise bays or the bustle of small towns with stone houses and streets, it’s all part of Dalmatia.
Numerous national parks, UNESCO heritage sites, and a thousand-year history from prehistoric times, Greek colonies, and Roman cities form the richness of Croatian and Dalmatian culture.
And one more, but most important thing – Dalmatian people are known for their hospitality and warm hearts.
