Dalmatia captures the essence of the Mediterranean with its turquoise bays, charming stone-built towns, national parks, and UNESCO-listed cultural heritage.
Boasting a rich history that traces back to prehistoric eras, Greek colonies, and Roman cities, paired with the warmth and hospitality of its people, Croatia stands out as a remarkable blend of cultural and natural splendor.
Board in Split. Sail to Postira on Brač Island (12 NM, cca 1.5–2 hours sailing).
Swim stop in a picturesque bay Splitska. Overnight stay in Postira.
Run 11 km (550 m+).
Route: Postira → Dol → Škrip (oldest settlement, 3000 years).
Visit to Olive Oil Museum and enjoying a good lunch.
Sail to Jelsa, Hvar Island (26 NM, 3.5–5 hours sailing). Swim stop en route and an overnight stay in Jelsa.
Run 13 km (700 m+).
Trail: Jelsa → Galešnik ruins → Hvar ridge → Pitve and Vrisnik villages.
Visit Terra Arhaica in Vrisnik to explore Hvar traditions.
Sail to Pakleni Islands (20 NM, 3–4 hours). Optional boat taxi to Hvar town. Overnight in Pakleni Islands.
Run 7 km (100 m+) on Sveti Klement, the largest of Pakleni islands.
Sail to Vela Luka, Korčula Island (18 NM, ~3 hours).
Stop for wine tasting in Sveta Nedilja and a swim at Proizd islet. Overnight in Vela Luka.
Run 10 km (500 m+). Circular trail with stunning views and a visit to Vela Spila cave.
Sail to Lastovo Island (18 NM, ~3 hours).
Dinner at a local tavern offering fresh, garden-to-table cuisine. Overnight in Lastovo.
Run 11 km (400 m+). Explore Lastovo’s charm, including iconic chimneys (“fumari”).
Sail to Komiža, Vis Island (36 NM, ~6 hours). Overnight in Komiža.
Run 16.5 km (850 m+). Route: Komiža → Mount Hum → Dragodid, an abandoned stone village.
Visit the Blue Cave if weather permits.
Sail to Stomorska, Šolta Island (30 NM, 4–5 hours). Overnight in Stomorska.
Sail to Split (9 NM, 1.5 hours). Disembarkation by 9:00 AM.
